Joe began his journey with AssuranceAmerica as Co-Founder in 2002 and has served the organization in multiple roles, most recently as President & Chief Executive Officer of AssuranceAmerica Group. For over two decades Joe guided the steady growth of the organization through a variety of business cycles to great success.

Joe also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors and a member of the leadership team focused on expansion and long-term growth.

Ed Heys

Ed serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AssuranceAmerica Group and also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors. Ed brings extensive experience in finance, operations, and leadership, guiding the organization through its continued growth and expansion.

Prior to joining AssuranceAmerica, Ed served in various leadership roles as a Partner at Deloitte.

Scott serves as President & Chief Executive Officer of AssuranceAmerica Corporation, providing insight and leadership for the continued success and growth of the company. Scott brings with him extensive experience and a successful track record of managing large teams that has led to the strategic development and deployment of insurance products contributing significantly to the company’s trajectory.

Elijah Haughawout

Elijah Haughawout serves as President & CEO of AssuranceAmerica Commercial Auto. He joined our company in 2021, bringing over 20 years of product management experience across both direct and agency channels. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Product, responsible for innovation, development, and product management across AssuranceAmerica.

Craig Thunell

Craig serves as President & CEO of AADirect, a digital-first agency targeting non-standard personal auto and light and local commercial auto. Craig provides overall direction and leadership towards the short and long-term strategy, data and analytics, operations management, sales & marketing, finance, and IT.
